WHO WE ARE
Entrusted with tending and managing the Thompson’s Vineyards as well as several clients’ blocks are our dedicated team: Tony Shepherd, Simone Tuhaka, Tully Midford, Meriana Edwards, Namit Shilotri, Jeremy Lockwood and Onosai Asiasi. Alongside manager and winemaker Anita Ewart-Croy, who has almost 30 years of experience in the New Zealand wine industry.
Soldiering on through both wonderful and punishing seasons forms a team that has each other’s back. That gritty ‘don’t give up’ attitude that is fundamental for successfully working with the land. 2023 for many people of the Northern East Coast of NZ was the most punishing season yet, but we still had parcels of superb grapes and we made wonderful wine. After harvest, inevitably we find ourselves saying, “next season we’ll try this…” Some call it crazy, we call it determination.
